Algar Telecom sees 2014 as a year when it overcame challenges. The Company exceeded the projected results, improved its efficiency and is making progress in consolidating its Integrated ICT Solutions and BPO, operated by Algar Tech, internationally. It took all the steps in its planning, agreed upon with shareholders and announced to the market in a transparent manner.

It has been investing consistently, which indicates a promising future. It acquired Asyst and the 700MHz frequency range for 4G services; in addition, it participated in the construction of a fiber-optic submarine cable and increased its geographical coverage to serve the corporate market. This represents a major prospect for the Company, totally connected with its long-term planning.

Algar Telecom has a solid client base supported by its knowledge and technology. The Company’s ambitions are focused mainly on innovation and co-creation as means to enhance the value perceived by clients, that is, the Company’s technology and processes make their lives easier so that they can concentrate on their businesses and other activities. To offer Telecom solutions to corporate clients, the Company will continue expanding its prospective networks in cities and towns where it already operates and in new areas. In the MSE market, our services will be expanded to other locations in 2015. In Integrated ICT Solutions and BPO, we will focus on consolidating our portfolio by restructuring it gradually to include big data, cloud computing and social mobility.

Our involvement in regulatory discussions and the dissemination of the Algar brand more globally also drive growth, along with our ongoing effort to engage in dialogue with all stakeholders, always focusing on creating value. Algar Telecom wants to continue being seen as a company that builds close relationships, delivers results, has long-lasting relationships, and respects associates, shareholders and the community.

In 2015, we will be consolidating our business plan and effectively start reaping the results of the Asyst integration and network expansion. Our main focus is to continue executing what has been defined as a strategy, ensuring recognition for our quality, close relationships and sustainability. We believe we are on the right track, and our task will be to fulfill the promises made for the coming years: expanding our Telecom business in Brazil and our Integrated ICT Solutions and BPO internationally, with sustainability and quality.
